From the very beginning, we wanted to make yahrzeit practice more sustainable. So we created a beautiful glass vessel worth keeping and custom candle refills to keep the ritual glowing, year after year.
Turns out, making a clean-burning, plant-based pillar candle that holds its shape for 25 hours is surprisingly complicated. After months of geeking out over wax chemistry with a specialty candlemaker, we finally perfected a fragrance-free refill designed to fit our Mere Mortals vessel. We're absurdly proud of it.
Each 4-pack offers four more opportunities to honor someone you love, without buying a whole new candle every time.
The details:
Four 25-hour candle refills for four occasions of remembrance
Custom-formulated coconut wax blend with lead-free cotton wicks
Fragrance-free for a simple, intentional ritual
Clean-burning, self-supporting pillars designed to hold their shape
Custom-fit inserts made exclusively for the Mere Mortals glass vessel
Four more lights. Countless memories.
Mere Mortals glass vessel sold separately.
